So our family decided to go to Steveson for a walk. Feeling hungry, my dad had to urge to go eat fish and chips because of all the fishes he saw.

So we went to Dave's Fish & Chips because, apparently, we use to go there often but I don't remember it at all...
On the table:
The first thing we got was the Poutine ($6.95). The amount we got was pretty small and the fries were average. There was a lot of cheese curd but there wasn't enough gravy so we had a lot of plain fries.

This was Two Piece Cod with Small Chips ($13.95). The coleslaw was average, the fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside and there was a good amount of it. The tartar sauce was nice. The cod was kind of disappointing, it was soggy and not crispy at all.

The second thing we got was the First Mate Platter & Chips with Cod ($14.95). This had 1 pieces of scallop, 2 pieces of shrimp, 1 piece of oyster and cod fish. The scallop was soft and crispy on the outside, it was good but there was only one piece :( same with the oyster, I thought they would at least give us 2 pieces like the shrimp but they didn't. The oyster was fresh and the shrimp was pretty big. We found the cod was the same as the two piece cod, not crispy, the outside was soggy and average size.

This was the Clam Chowder ($5.95). This was probably our favorite dish of the day. There was a lot of ingredients inside (potato, clam, carrots, etc.) and it was nice and thick. This was probably our favorite dish of the day.

We won't come back to Dave's Fish & Chips. We were quite disappointed with the fish and the service was bad, the waitress either didn't notice us or she was ignore us, we suspect the both because all she was doing was talking to the other waitress.
